Evaluate and launch Koha Standard on AWS
Standard is the default self-service product for libraries with internal IT support or an implementation partner. It runs in your own AWS account, with Koha Theme Builder, automated S3 backups, and custom-domain support.
AWS infrastructure charges apply throughout the trial. Implementation and ongoing operational support are available separately.
Your evaluation journey
- Review the software terms, likely AWS costs, region, and instance size.
- Subscribe to Standard and choose the CloudFormation delivery option.
- Launch the guided deployment and verify the staff interface and public catalogue.
- Import a small sample catalogue and test circulation, themes, and backups.
- Decide whether to continue on hourly pricing, make a separate annual purchase, or end the evaluation and clean up resources.

Need a different operating arrangement?

Ask about implementation help for migration, training, configuration, or ongoing support. These services are not included merely by subscribing to an AMI.
